Undergraduate Programs

The Department of Exercise and Sport Science offers the following undergraduate programs:

Bachelor's Degrees
Applied Exercise Science, B.S.

This program is designed to prepare students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to become health fitness instructors and human performance specialists through a strong academic and applied background.

Athletic Training, B.A.

Athletic Training prepares students for a profession dedicated to the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries to the physically active.

Physical Education, B.A.

Physical Education is a teacher preparation program. Students study such topics as fitness and wellness development and assessment, movement exploration, and motor development, as well as gain a thorough preparation in teaching methods.
