영어 프로그램 (ALCI)
혹 영어회화나 영작문 실력 때문에 주저하는 유학생들을 위해
아주사 퍼시픽 대학교에서는 성공적 학업 성취를 위한 영어 실력 향상을 도와 드릴 ‘미국영어 및 문화 학교(ALCI)’ 라고 불리는 영어 프로그램이 있습니다.
왜 ALCI가 좋은가?
ALCI는 TOEFL (토플) 점수가 없이 입학이 가능합니다. ALCI의 영어 프로그램을 통해 4단계 과정을 마치면 정규 학부 학위 프로그램을 시작할수 있습니다. 대학원 과정은6 단계 이수후 입학을 할수 있습니다.
수준 높은 교육 환경을 위하여 ALCI는 실력있는 강사진과15명이하의 소규모 학급을 운영합니다. 또한 현지 파트너를 짝지어 줌으로서 서로간의 독특한 문화와 관심사를 영어회화로 나누게 됨으로 영어 향상및 현지 적응에 도움을 드립니다.
TOEFL(토플) 점수가 원하는 프로그램에서의 요구보다 낮은 학생들은 먼저 ALCI를 등록해서 얼마간의 영어공부 후 정규 프로그램을 시작하게 됩니다. TOEFL(토플) 시험을 치기를 원하지 않을 경우에도 ALCI를 통해 소정의 과정을 이수 후 정규 학위 프로그램에 입학 하실 수 있습니다.

Studying English in the United States: ALCI Overview
Are you concerned about the level of your English speaking or writing skills? We have programs to help. APU offers an academic English as a second language (ESL) program, called American Language and Culture Institute (ALCI). ALCI will help teach you the English skills you will need to know in order to successfully complete your study program at APU.
Why study with ALCI?
ALCI requires no TOEFL score for your program admission. Students can enter APU Undergraduate programs after completion of ALCI Level 4, and Graduate programs after Level 6. ALCI also offers small class sizes (under 15 students) to provide high-quality attention from the skilled English instructors. ALCI also offers you the opportunity to be paired with an American mentor partner. You and your partner can share your unique cultures and interests all while practicing your conversational English.
If your TOEFL score isn’t high enough to enter your desired program of study at APU, you may have to attend ALCI to complete some additional English language training before starting your program. If you don’t want to take the TOEFL, you can enter into APU directly through completing classes with ALCI!
