APU Professor Awarded Alice V. Watkins Imago Dei Ethos Award

AZUSA, Calif. –

Azusa Pacific University recently named Upland, Calif. resident Carol Lundberg, Ph.D., professor in the university’s School of Behavioral and Applied Sciences, as the 2008 recipient of the Alice V. Watkins Imago Dei Ethos Award. This $2,000 award recognizes Lundberg’s involvement in diversity-related scholarship.

Actively involved in the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE) and the Association for College Student Administrators (ACPA), Lundberg strives for excellence in her research focusing on college success for underrepresented and underserved populations.

She holds a B.A. in Social Ecology from the University of California, Irvine, an M.A. in Social Science with an emphasis in Student Development from Azusa Pacific University, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration form Claremont Graduate University.
